Sify…………………

Sify…………………..(Si.mply F.ucks Y.ou) I hav ebeen using Sify Broadband for past three months na dthe service is very very poor they charge Rs.850(Rs.799/- for Sify and 50/- as service charge for cable operator) for unlimited hours Per Month with a speed of 128 KBPs ……………..I am really not aware on what basis they deduct money every day and in this three months I have faced 2 month sof down time and bloody local cable operator never provides any service for th emoney he takes and neither the sify customer care responds for calls properly……………..Never ever go fo rthis Simply Fuck You (S.I .F.Y) Conection.

Sify gets away with such pathetic service, because we have a pathetic regulator (TRAI) who pays no attention to the quality of service consumers receive, even though it's part of their job. They have not laid down any reimbursement policy in case of deficiency of service. So Sify can continue to charge consumers for service they never provide. All TRAI does is focus on regulating the price, when in fact as regulators their job is to regulated all aspects of telecom service. The bottom line is "Sify provides bad service because they know they can get away with it".

I applied 2 years ago and I wanted it within a week, and am still awaiting the connection!

There is no communication and refund from SIFY.

I have lived with this problem for over three years now simply because Sify was the only ISP covering my area. Same problems- down time > 50%, miserable customer care and they always try and blame the user for having pulled the cable or some other equally idiotic reason. Now I have Airtel Broadband also and am switching to them on 1st May 2008.
