Sify is a joke, customer service sucks. 6kbps download speed on a 48kbps is a joke on broadband. This I can get even on a dial up. The sify operator here still claims that he gave me a dedicated line. The sify guys at customer care say that its a shared line. I had no interest in a shared line. I had a dedicated zeenext connection before I shifted my house and I was quite happy with it. On sify downloading stuff like 80mb takes ages. On my previous connection ie zeenext I used to download 600mb of stuff in a couple of hours. In the whole situation I think sify is just cheating customers. And I was one of them. I have a good mind to blast the CTO of the company, and considering the rudeness of the Customer care exec's I would like to go personally and give him a piece of my mind.
