sify user in navi mumbai

i was a sify user in navi mumbai. Kharghar.. these people s*** ,when i got my connection i told them i was going to
shift,they came to my new place and confirmed the connection now they say there are less connections in my new locality so i
wont be provided with a connection, i was even ready the bear half the cost of getting the equipment set .. these people
really screw my brains .. in a way we should boycott these conections to teach them a lesson..

Im also one of those poor customers of this fucked up Sify Broadband.

Im also facing the most of the problems that have been mentioned here.

I have spoke to them a countless no of times. and i know almost all of them in the so called Sify Customer Care.

And i have made a detailed note in my blog about the problems i have been facing with Sify.

This fucked up asses in the Sify customer care the most irresponsible i have ever seen.

Hey! all u brothers & sisters who are victims of Sify Broadband, please welcome us in your family, The connection here at Khanda Colony, that is New Panvel also Sucks - our monthly subscription, but terrible connection... the laugh of it all is the chor police that they play... the call centre blames the local service provider and vice versa, if u want to break a wall of Anger on someone on a bad day Just Call Sifybroad Customer Care, I'm sure that u will Blast as soon as u hear The Hallo..... Wish Sify CEO would read our concerns......

Sify cyber cafe's may be ok.
However- "broadband home access" has along way to go. Especially the people sitting in the customer care should be taught some atticates. They make childish and unprofessional excuses for LONG downtimes.
We suffered a 18 hrs downtime, just because no one came and switched on the last mile switch/networking device,even after repeated calls!! This has already happened SEVERAL times.
We work from home. Who will compensate us for the damages/ loss of work hours and in the ultimate case, loss of job.
This loss is converted to the time of more than 3 business people exchanging mails and having business discussion over the net!!

There is no ticket based system and no accountability of uptime. In this age of ISP's, I am amazed how sify is running a business without customer focus.
IS THERE ANY ORGANIZATION (LIKE TRAI IS FOR CELL NETWORK) - WHERE I CAN COMPLAIN FORMALLY AGAINST SUCH IRRESPONSIBLE BUSINESSES (bandwidth and uptime is money)!!
Also- I need people in my area to contact me and create some change. Writing on forums is useless unless we do something about it!!

These sify people have now started business of fraud as well in Navi Mumbai. I opted a new connection of sify and paid the whole amount in cheque. The customer executive vanised in next 2 days with his phone switched of. Customer service is one of the worst ever i have seen. I think Govt should take a strict action against this frauders.

I am also victim of sify braodband.I opted for new connection at my residence Nerul and paid whole amount in cash to sify customer executive Nitin.After that he completely nontraceable.Sometime He is not picking his phone, sometimes switched off.I am really fedup for the last 5 months because of this bad response from these fraud person.We should lodge a police complain against these people and also against sify broadband.

Listen guys I am a fellow sufferer and my experiences with Nitin of Sify and their gang are identical. The problem is that there is no good internet service in navi mumbai including the plug 2 surf from tata indicom. Mtnl would have been the best bet, but unfortunately it is not available everywhere. So unless anybody knows of a better isp option, my suggestion is to stick in there and try to enjoy the r*pe.

guys guys guys! relax!

go for reliance broadband service.

i m paying 950 a month for a 300kbps 24hours unlimited plan with a free landline phone and an adsl.

installation fee is 500 only. nothing more.

and in a span of 7 months since the time i dumped sify and went for reliance......it woz down for only a night......due to some tower falt or some thing like that.

Since from three months i have taken a net from sify distributer, he was not able to provide the connection properly. He took money from me without giving the receipts,which i ask for , now I am contacting him he is not picking up the phone also.I will request sify to take the action and kindly check the person whether he is capable or not. I registered the compliant with sify also but in vain...from Juinagar

Hey guys those SSV people are crooks of the first order,they promise a free antivirus on 6 months package and say that our engineer will come and install a licensed antivirus package but after 3 days of my harassing the customer care they send a crook who say that i will download the antivirus and give the key for it in 3-4 days, the crook has not yet shown up and im pissed off

after reading all the comments.. I would prefer to be with MTNL. using it for last 3 - 4 months i am much satisfied with the service of the network team, call center executives.
Prices are not that competitive but still better than compared annoying ISP's bad service. Reliance is also good, just heard of haven't used it. Tariff is on the higher side. If airtel plans to come over.. i am sure will see many customers in a short span. I have used Airtel in thepast for almost 2 years and i was very very happy with it. Hope we Navi-Mumbaikar's get this ISP issue resolved soon.
