Case of fraud against Sify Broadband in Chennai
Hello Ppl,
This is Nikhil here and i need a favour from all the chennai junta who are now suffering with sify's broadband connection.
The Favour :
If you have got the sify's 64kbps Unlimited plan , which was unlimited until 2 months back until sify suddenly had change of plans , and informed the users that , your pack is not unlimited , and you can download only 150 MB/day!!!!!!
Now , this wasn't mentioned or written anywhere when a user bought a pack( 6 months or 1 year before) , which means that they don't stick to their agreement made initially. ( a case of fraud )
and therefore i will need you to write your complaint against sify , give me your Name, Address & Proof of purchase.

Even I am frustrated of this fact of Limited MB download in Unlimited 64 KBps Plan. Those ******** from Sify - say we are suppose to download around 750 MB of data in 7 consecutive days. Otherwise they tap our speed to 16-32 KBps deliberately if we download more than that 750 MB within 7 consecutive days.
It is no where mentioned in the plan form... NO terms NO conditions
They should make it more clear..
PACENET Unlimited Plan does not keep such restrictions..

I agree with you, but in the present situation there is no other ISP that provides proper packages...
eg: BSNL provides 1GB for Rs.500, but there is no intimation for u that u have crossed the limit and after that for each MB he charges Rs.1, and there will be a suprise for ur Bill...
where as SIFY's 1GB pack also costs Rs.500 and they intimate u before complition of ur pack...
64Kbps pack ---> Rs.500
150MB/day*30days= 4.5GB
But
256Kbps ---> Rs.500
30days = 1GB
by this in my opinion it is better to take 64Kbps pack so that u will get >4GB per month....
I had placed an oline order for HTC P3450 Touch Smart Phone on 18th July. Following are the order detials

The committed delivery for this order was within 5-7 working days. Today i called up the customer care to find out the status of my order, i got a reply that the product is out of stock and they would return the money after 2 days. This is my first and last time with Sify Mall. I feel that they do this basically to roll money from the public. for example my 16k was left with them for 7 days without any interest or other expenses. God only knows from how many consumers they are taking money on a daily basis and taking them on a royal ride. THE SIFY MANAGEMENT MUST BE EXPOSED IN MEDIA AND MUST BE SUED FOR THEIR ACT OF FRAUD.
