Sify Broadband thumbs down to Delhi Users

Anyone on Sify Broadband would know that there is not one decent package available on their website. Most of the packages are hourly or data transfer based. And the one without any limits are labeled shared and come with hidden limit of 75megs.

There is a glitch here. Sify Broadband is offering Mumbai users a special package codenamed AULM. It comes in speeds of 128kbps. No limits are specified. At best, it is a shared pack but speeds do not go below 8-9KBps for most of the daytime. Nights give even better speeds. At less than 700 bucks, it is relatively a steal.

The issue is that the package is not being offered in Delhi and Chandigarh . Why so? My guess is lack of competition. Mumbai have more ‘broadband' players so they have to offer cheap packages. Chandigarh is even more screwed. And me in Panchkula? Well do not ask...
