Sify broadband even for a single minute

A prime example of poor service is internet service provider Sify. My own experience should be a revelation to new customers.

On Sept. 12, taken in by the numerous advertisements in my neighbourhood, I signed up for a Sify broadband connection in Padmanabha Nagar, Bangalore. The order number is 473512. The person who came promised the connection in two days. One week later, even the cabling had not been done. When that was finally done, it took another eight days for the technical person to come and install the software to connect to the internet. Later that evening, we were unable to connect. Numerous phone calls to the local service provider have not helped. Often, he will does not even answer the phone. When he does, he promises to rectify the problem that day, but never turns up. Complaints to even CEO of the company have not helped.

As I write this, it is the 29th of September. I signed up on Sept. 12. Seventeen days later, we have not been able to connect to the internet using Sify broadband even for a single minute.

suffered a lot with Sify broadband

I too have suffered a lot with Sify broadband, not with the speed or change in plan but with my subcription for the new connection itself. I have subcriped for a new connection with Sify on Jan 2006 and paid a sum of Rs 2330 and they promised that they will provide the line in 15 days. Days passed…, months passed.., a year passed no response.., repeated calls to their Customer care yield nothing, then I realized that there are no Sify cables running in my area and the Company too accepted it but didnt return my money back.
After a long struggle, I felt that they will not return my money back and thus filed a case againt Sify in the Customer Court, Chennai. The case is still in progress and I have demanded a huge amount from Sify for Cheating. I also came to know that the company have cheated in the similar manner in different parts of the city. So guys beware and act.

I am a highly dissatisfied customer of SIfy broadband

I am a highly dissatisfied customer of SIfy broadband. It is the worst service to get in this competitive environment where all other services are at best and sify is the worst. There is no prompt action taken despite of several complaints lodged. I am sure other service providers do a much better job in terms of customer satisfaction. Not only the internet rates of sify are high, the quality of their service is extremely low. Every other week my internet does not work and it takes them atleast 4-5days to resolve the issue. Despite of making innumerable calls, no engineer or any other help is provided. I beleive the sify technical team and the customer service are untrained and are just enjoying the salary paid out of the pockets of their customers.I would never recommend sify to anyone and if the sify problems still persist, i will get the services of another internet provider.
This was the greatest mistake made by me to take sify braodband service…………..its reallyy frustating in all the ways………..

My internet connection is not working properly

My internet connection is not working properly till date.The muthaliar pet cto (maheswaran) asked to shiftover to better convenient.he did not agreed to tranfer it. He also did not given deposit money rs.4000/(four thousand).He told the whole money for insulation.your site engineer tamilmaran never careabout customer problems.He also indirectely suportting him.He always told,informed hiher authority.God only knows?I am disturbing without internet connection from june 13th onwards.Help me immeadiately or recover my deposit as soon as possible.
